Every semester students have the opportunity to choose to do projects that interest them. One project option is to create a children's story that teaches children non speciesist ways to relate to nonhuman animals. Please enjoy this beautiful story about a lovely bird who lost some of their feathers. The book was hand illustrated in ink on paper and is based on a bird who the author once met. Be sure you read the captions to see the story's text! By Anika Rossow StrasserAuthor bioAnika Rossow Strasser is a first-year student majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies at MNSU.
